Cultural Appreciation: The Rungus

I celebrate Kaamatan today at Kadazan-Dusun Cultural Association (KDCA)’s Hongkod Koisaan, Penampang. Dang, should have followed my dad, he get to enter the hall with fellow VIP while me stucked outside, under the sun. 🙂

I love the unity and the diversity of Sabahan ethnicity. We don’t segregate each other according to race but we stand together as one. 🙂 oh, I’m so going to miss the warmth and hospitality of the people here.

Few colleagues and me visited the Valai Rungus as one of our colleague is a Rungus. I told her & her mom that I wanna wear the Rungus dress & they took roughly 20 minutes to cloth me. Yep, fully accessorized. The MC announced me wearing the attire & the tourist flocked to take picture with me. ha,ha. Funny.
