Sayang Kinabalu

Hello everyone! It’s the last day of the month of november 2020 (!!), and here we are, still trying to flatten the curve, pandemic-ally and physically. Covid infection cases is still the highest in Sabah and hopefully, it will flatten soon. It will need collective effort from everyone to do so.

I, on the other hand, went back home to see my parents and to unwind prior to the rising cases (and the election of course). No, i did not vote, because my voting constituency is in segambut now.

Anyway, it was a relaxing break after months of stress and being couped up at home with tons of works, I finally managed to chase sunset and sunrise again.

We checked in to the nearest paradise from Kota Kinabalu, and booked a ocean wing with garden access for 2 nights. It was amazing, the hospitality and the warmth of sabahan, the laid back athmosphere and the fact that I don’t have to think of work for a while.

I even drop by for a drink and snack with my friend to my favourite sunset bar in the whole wide world. If you know me well, you should know where it is located. Too bad we only enjoyed the sun deck lounging for half hour or so before it started pouring.

2020 been a bad year, and i can’t wait for 2021 already. I even bought a 2021 planner in august! LOL.

Here’s a few snapshot for your eyes to feast on and hope this will carve a smile on your face and think and see there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
