Marble Cake

One of the most easiest & yummy cake to bake and eat. mwhaha. So far, mommy baked about 5 marble cakes and 3 butter cakes for the wedding. The house practically covers with sweet buttery aroma. I won’t publish the recipe here as you can just google it.

After chatting with Ivan (I gave him quarter of the marble cake), I went to the kitchen & helped mommy in baking another marble cake (2, to be exact). Below are some of the pictures taken during the process of mixing:

There are absolutely endless ways to make the marble pattern, swirl it with spatula etc but mommy version require a mathematical equation:

Marble = [4 (4V+4C) + 3 (3V+3C) + 2 (2V+2C) + (V+C) ]

where,      V= vanilla, C= chocolate

Explanation: 4 layers of alternate 4 tablespoon of vanilla and chocolate batters, then 3 layers of alternate 3 tablespoon of vanilla and chocolate batters,  2 layers of alternate 2 tablespoon of vanilla and chocolate batters, and 1 layer of alternate 1 tablespoon of vanilla and chocolate batters.

and, walla!
