Colorcoil Hasuu Tasu Trail Run 2014 – Bundu Tuhan to WS10

Just 2 words to describe the run: amazing view and brutal trail !!

I woke up early on sunday morning to take the bus transfer from Sutera Harbour. To be honest, i can’t sleep that night because am super excited and extremely nervous. Many of my friends telling stories that they were DNF last year as the course is super hard, and they can’t meet the stipulated time frame. I was like, okay, this is serious run. They should remove the word ‘fun’ run in the description. Haha. So i had about 2 hours sleep and awoke by my fitbit alarm vibration.

My parents send me to sutera whereby they drop me at the guardhouse of the marina club entrance, tennis court side. Their face and way they wave me as i walk to the bunch of participants, as if like they are sending me to the kindergarten the first time. Lol.

I waited and finally, settled to my designated bus & drop my finish bag at the other bigger bus, and the bus took about 1 hrs and half to reach the foothill of the Kinabalu Park.

We were waited for half and hour before organizer ushering us to the starting point. Its a few minutes walk from where the bus drop us off. I met my lecturer’s friend, my pacer for this run. She did 50K last year.

My photo-journey stop at WS10 as it is about to rain & i have to wrap my iphone in thr plastic. The second brutal part of the run start after WS10 to CP4 to finishing point. I need to use both hand to hold on to my trekking pole & fastwalking.
